I manage to squeeze some time to come up with actually a few video tutorials about Sony Vegas. I actually did it upon request from a good friend of mine. Well, I’m not 100% done but I’ll get it done by this weekend. I’ve just uploaded the frist video. If you’re interested you can download at :
It’s a very simple tutorial. Not a perfect one at all. Just trying to help those who would like to learn and to be helped with 
On the other hand, I just found out that I’ve to work 6 full days a week! >_> It’s gonna be tiring …. During work, I think it’s fine, But when I strugle to arise from my slumber, thinking of it just drowns my spirit …. Nevertheless, it’s been a good,tiring yet enriching experience. Can’t wait to learn more actually

Just within two days of work, I realise how much of what I studied is hardly used at all! No, I’m not creating any 3D projects, no I’m not using those PV=nRT, no I’m not using any of Newton’s law. No, I did not see any material strength graph. In fact, when following the supervisors around, the things they discuss are basically all common sense! Yes it is! The difference is actually the way you think and your communication skills. Can you come up with a solution fast?! Is it good? How are you to relay the word to your fellow workers, boss or anyone else? All these are way way more important than those of which we learn directly in uni, such as calculus, free body diagrams. (at least at where I work) Those are good to improve your basic understanding on the USAGE of the equipments used. But the knowledge of such will not be able to help you in coming up with a solution if you hardly have any common sense. As my supervisors were explaining on how the design is such and such and how they were discussing with contractors to come up with solution, I do not hear any laws of thermodynamics or the Bernoulli equation coming up. It’s basically, simple solutions which I believe can be thought up by anyone who has experience and a sound mind.
So, my advise to all is that, when you study, do not just focus on remembering them for exams. Think on how to understand that equipment or whatever you’re studying more because it’s the way you think that’s gonna help you when you work….. Not those close book exams….

Well, if you don’t know, I’m actually at the PJ8 work site, which is right opposite PJ Hilton. They are coming up with a residential/commercial area. Thus, you can conclude that I’m in the construction line .. huhu .. PCK in the making
LoL! Happy belated birthday actually. Well, to infrm the rest of the group, May Peng and myself went and visit her about an hour(or more) ago lol.. We wished her Happy Bday but we forgotten to sing her a Happy Bday song .. *woops*
LoL!…Let’s see, I’ve had my holidays for a week and all I’ve been doing is pretty much bumming around. In summary, I’ve urh … what did I do again? …
Oh right, I’ve watched a show in KLPac – Passion - with awesome friends from uni(Shwe, Aaron, Wen Li, Timothy, Wei Loon, J. Thong). Few of ‘em almost fell asleep during the show woops~ ahaha.. Went to pavilion and ate the deliciously oversized Carl’s Jr, and then being dotaing here and there… not to mention trying to fix the video stuffs =.= (I shall get back to that later). Hrmm.. what else? Mamak-ed with ah peng (hehe ah peng ah peng~ lol – ehemz~.. should I announce? ) oh and watched 27 dresses with sue anne lol~ Good show I must say -if you’re looking for a simple show(quite typical I must say) which you will laugh, I would recommend this show – … and also went around Pyramid trying to search for a good toy version of Ben 10 (which is a cartoon I never knew existed =.=) and ahh .. went to KLPac again for training to stub tickets lol~ … just came back from mamaking with MY, ah peng and ______ ^^
Pretty interesting week. Well, looks like things are about to change. Gonna start work next week in IJM.. Excited actually. Sadly, I must say I’ve not really worked in an office before (no I’m not spoilt =.= it’s just that time was never on my side) and yeah so this is gonna me my first.. Will be a good experience though pay’s kinda low .. Hey at least I’m getting paid…
Oh, in case you’re wondering what happened to the promo video I’m suppose to do, I’m still doing .. yeah .. I stopped for a week and a half actually to concentrate on my exams. I started a week and a half back. However, I’m facing a lot of problems trying to get the best out of my imaginations. Among those are, unable to achieve what I’ve imagined, my imagination is not detailed, lacking of computer power lol~ .. Pretty frustrating honestly. I’ve gotta admit that among my weakness in this field is my lack of ability in arts – drawing in specific. This in turn, reduces my ability to help me decide the best way to start on my ideas, on colours and also angles probably. I start from scratch again and again due to that. However, I’m not gonna give up! Oh yeah I’m not!… My final decision, to change the whole idea of the video promo to a simpler and yet it probably will have a better meaning/ story line to it. So it’s coming! Just hold on a little longer! I’ll post a few snapshots or a short clip of what I did that failed. lol~
p/s : I missed something out. I’ve been reading alot of stuffs. Christian related stuffs. Really interesting to see that I claim to love my Lord only to know I’m missing out alot of things. So, people don’t forget to read the Bible everyday! lol
Yes life doens’t go the way we want… no it doens’t … and the same exact principle is applied to the video I’m doing right now lol~… I tried playing around with 3D plugins in After Effects only to make it un-renderable…
So, it looks like I’m gonna have to play around with 2D back again …. sighs…
And so the holidays begin … with 3 months of time to spend on everything else but books, ……. what am I gonna do? O_o? lol~
Well, I’m still waiting for IJM’s confirmation on where am I gonna be placed …… for internship… Hopefully not too far la. >_>
Also, I am gonna use this time to improve on skills using Adobe AE : CS3 (woohoo!) and build up some fundamental (+ some advanced) knowledge on 3ds max. Geeek time! Speaking of whch, I’ve proudly added a 500GB HD – WD to my com totalling up my space to 750 GB .. hehe .. time to berdld huhu ^^

Girl run over by lorry after falling off m-cycle
It’s so sad to see someone die at such a young age becase of such incidents. What’s even worse is that it’s not her fault, but her mom’s fault.
“Rubiah was trying to overtake a car but failed because there was an oncoming lorry,” he told reporters at a press conference here yesterday.
She tried to avoid the lorry, causing her daughter to fall from the machine, he said.”
Reading from this, it is probably either a 1 lane road for each direction or she was on the outter lane. Trying to avoid the lorry causing her daughter to fall … This shows that either she was going really fast or suddenly the lorry appeared outta nowhere. In any case, this just show how irresponsible she is.If you have a kid as a pillion, please la, do consider her safety too. Don’t overtake left right up down like you’re some king(queen) of the road.
Well, for those of you who are motorcyclist, remember, in whatever situation, you’re always more vulnerable. Remember ride like hell and soon you’ll be there.
People, heads up! It’s April Fool… Don’t be fooled…. like me =.=
